Avinoam Silverman
Studied at The Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Israel, Canada's National Ballet School. Joined The National Ballet of Canadain 1997 and was promoted to second soloist in 2004. Performed in the world premiers of James Kudelka's An Italian Straw Hat, Cindrella, Swan Lake, An Disembodied Voice, company premiere of Jerome Robbins's Opus19/ The Dreamer, Kudelka's Terra Firma and George Balanchine's Episodes.Also performed in ballets such as Fire bird, Giselle, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, The Four Seasons , Forgotten Land, Solitaire, Theme and Variations, Onegin, The Merry Widow, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Manon, Elite Syncopations, The Taming of the Shrew, La Fille mal garde?, A Delicate Battle, Tristan and Isolde, Napoli, Desir, Madamme Butterfly, Jewels, Serenade...
