フランス出身。
リヨン国立高等音楽院・舞踊科を経てジョン・クランコスクールを卒業。
プロフェッショナル･ダンサーとして活動中、フランスやギリシャの国際的コンクールにて数多くの賞を受賞。
ドイツ、マグデブルク劇場とコトブス州立劇場ではソリストを務め、ウヴェ・ショルツやニルス・クリスト、ジョルジョ・マディアらの作品に出演。また、ドイツのダンス雑誌〈Tanz〉にて"ダンサー・オブ・ザ・イヤー2014"にノミネートされる。
引退後、ドレスデン・パルッカ・ダンス大学にてバレエ教育学修士号を取得。
現在はフリーのバレエマスター、振付家として活動しドレスデン・パルッカ・ダンス大学やモーリス・ベジャール・バレエ団、コトブス州立劇場、フランソワ・モーディットバレエ等にて幅広く活動中。

Born in France, Jason Sabrou studied in the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon and at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. During his career as a dancer he won the International Dance Competition in Toulouse, and the International Dance Competition in Grace. Furthermore, he worked as soloist for the Ballett Magdeburg and Staatsballett Cottbus in Germany. During this time, he danced choreographies by Uwe Scholz, Nils Christe, Giorgio Madia, Gonzalo Gualguera, Lode Devos, Adriana Mortelitti etc... and got nominated as « Dancer of the Year 2014 » by the magazine « Tanz ».
After an injury, Jason decided to retire as a dancer and graduated in 2019 from the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden where he got his master degree in dance pedagogy. Since then Jason has been working as a freelance teacher, balletmaster and choreographer for schools and companies like the International Ballet Summer School of Hong Kong, Palucca University of Dance Dresden, Bejart Ballet Lausanne, Compagnie Choréographique Francois Mauduit and the Staatsballett Cottbus.
